The new Ascent is more adaptable than ever. The frame is TIG-welded with heat-treated, triple-butted Ritchey Logic steel tubing that features rack and fender mounts and a multi-purpose mount under the downtube, while a new Ritchey steel fork offers up multi-purpose, rack, fender and dynamo light mounts. Other notable features of the new Ritchey Ascent include post-mount brake compatibility, 148mm spacing and an external seat collar. Throw a mountain bike bar on it and some 27.5" wheels for more trail-oriented adventures. Or ride it with drop bars and 29" wheels for some longer distance rough road riding. This unique frameset also includes the new WCS Carbon Brevet Fork designed specifically for the Montebello. With clearance for 40c tires without a fender — or 36 with a fender, this fork has special mounting options for either a porteur or lowrider rack, and threaded drilling in the crown for attaching rack lights. Ideal for long rides, internal Dynamo routing is fast becoming standard among Ritchey adventure forks. And, of course, the Brevet Fork sports the hallmark of Ritchey forks – a 1–1/8th straight steerer for a precise yet forgiving ride experience.

A true modern classic, Tom designed a heat-treated and triple-butted Ritchey Logic tubeset for the Road Logic, featuring aggressively short-butted sections optimized for TIG welding that save weight and improve ride quality. Ritchey’s proprietary forged-and-machined integrated headtube uses standard drop-in bearings and saves 80 grams over a standard head tube design. The Road Logic also features spacing for up to 30c tires and a Ritchey Carbon Fork that will ensure a lifetime of enjoyable pedal turns.
